DESIGNER STATEMENT
As a UX / UI Designer, understanding the process of combining strong visual design and functionality and practicality to solve various user-problems and improve interaction between said user and the product is the principle of good design.Starting college as an illustrator, subsequently switching to photography and graphic design, and therefore the transition to pursuing UX / UI was a drastic change along my path as an artist. Through my work, I aim to provide a streamlined experience, developing solutions through deep dives into the problem within a product that is plaguing users on various mobile and desktop platforms. For example, I had recently re-designed the website Pluto TV, improving it’s navigational functionality, overall visual layout, and fundamentals such as color palette and other stylistic choices. Using quantitative data from three testers throughout the design process and maximizing the feedback received, I was able to satisfy the clients and testers.Ultimately, I’m a designer that aims to promote intrapersonal and interpersonal growth through my career in UX / UI design, instilling a sense of importance in the medium and the role it plays in the larger scope of society, shaping our online experience.
UX / UI
Case 1 | Pluto TV | Re-Design
This case study was a deep re-design of the two main pages of the streaming platform, Pluto TV.They market themselves as a free streaming platform that allows users to navigate a large selection of tv shows, movies, and series. This large body of content is offered in a live tv or on demand format. My job was to re-design the unappealing and cluttered layout alongside add some interest through a stronger color palette and elements.

Additionally, I had made quick designs on how it may look on mobile devices such as tablets and phones.

Case 2 | Discord | Mobile Watch
This case study was a simple mini-project I had done in class to get a working example of an app of my choice on a watch platform.I personally chose Discord, a popular communications app due to my familiarity with the application.Additionally, this was a means to familiarzie myself with the challenge of designing within a smaller space. You will find a showcase video here.

Case 3 | Chevrolet | Re-Design
This project involved a heavy re-design of two major parts of Chevrolet's live website, specifically that of the landing page and the build your own customization page.Starting from basic user surveys into low fidelity, medium fidelity, and lastly high fidelity designs with prototyping, this was a very length process and at various steps of the way involved three testers to provide feedback for the direction of the re-design.Below you will find a video of the final prototype.
